The estate was once the home of the Woolworth family (of five and dime store
fame) and in the mid 1900's was a gentlemen's racehorse
farm of Norman Woolworth, Jr. This gracious home has
been lovingly restored to its original grandeur. You
will feel pampered in any one of our 8 uniquely
decorated spacious guestrooms, each having its own
private bath. We also have a private guest
carriage house with two bedrooms, full kitchen and
living quarters.
We offer "down home"
hospitality in a relaxed country environment, surrounded
by the classic natural beauty of Maine. Writers and
artists will be inspired by our rural beauty and
spectacular view over Lake Cobbossee. Those who

Bed
and Breakfast Policy
- A 50% deposit, or the cost of
one night's stay, whichever is greater, will
hold your reservation with the balance due
upon arrival.
- Two night minimum on selected
weekends and holidays.
- If a written cancellation is
made prior to 14 days of the arrival date,
there will be a full refund, less a $20 fee.
- If cancellation is made within
14 days of arrival, but more than 48 hours,
the guest is responsible for the deposit.
- Within 48 hours, the guest is
responsible for the full amount unless the
room can be re-rented.
- We are a non-smoking
B&B.
- Check-in: 3:00 p.m.
Check out: 11 a.m. Please let us know if you
need special accommodation - food, timing or
accessibility.
- We do not allow pets.
We will refer you to local kennel if you wish.
