Come visit us at A Rise And Shine Bed and Breakfast  near  Augusta,  Lewiston/Auburn, Waterville area.  We are in the lake region of central Maine and within an hour's drive from the coast. Langor in the outdoor jacuzzi hot tub under the stars, attend live theatre, boat, hike, ski, sled, skate, fish in all seasons (great ice fishing)  golf,  go bargain outlet and antique shopping  or horseback riding.  You can have a business meeting, party, wedding, craft workshop, family reunion, retreat, etc.

The estate was once the home of the Woolworth family (of five and dime store fame) and in the mid 1900's was a gentlemen's racehorse farm of Norman Woolworth, Jr. This gracious home has been lovingly restored to its original grandeur. You will feel pampered in any one of our 8 uniquely decorated spacious guestrooms, each having its own private bath.  We also have a private guest carriage house  with two bedrooms, full kitchen and living quarters.

We offer "down home"  hospitality in a relaxed country environment, surrounded by the classic natural beauty of Maine. Writers and artists will be inspired by our rural beauty and spectacular view over Lake Cobbossee.  Those who need a mini vacation will be sated.  Business travelers welcomed.

Those who plan special events will find our home spacious, warm, and welcoming.  The spectacular view over lake Cobbossee from the bed and breakfast gardens, patio,  and front rooms provide the backdrop for your perfect get-a-way wedding, re-vowing, or committal ceremony. Book the entire Inn for your guests traveling from afar, and use the Inn's grounds as the setting for your special day. Let us help make your celebration unforgettable!  We cater by arrangement.
